About ToTheLoo

ToTheLoo is a global washroom utility designed to help people find cleaner, safer, more reliable facilities—exactly when they need them.

What began as a simple idea has evolved into a structured system connecting people, businesses, and communities through access, visibility, and trust.

The Problem We All Understand

Access to washrooms is a basic human need—yet availability remains inconsistent, unclear, and often stressful.

Whether in an unfamiliar part of a city or simply on the move, people are frequently left asking:

Where can I go?
Will it be open?
Will it be usable?

At the same time, thousands of businesses already provide washrooms—without visibility, structure, or connection to those who need them.

A Simple Idea, Structured Properly

ToTheLoo brings clarity to something that has long been fragmented.

By combining location data, community verification, and business and civic participation, the platform creates a living network of washrooms people can trust.

Each location evolves through a simple quality system:

This structure allows users to make fast, confident decisions—without uncertainty.

Built as a Shared System

ToTheLoo is not built by one group alone.

It is a shared system supported by:

Together, these roles form a network that becomes more reliable with every interaction.

Designed with Dignity in Mind

ToTheLoo is built on a simple principle:

Access to a washroom should not be an uncomfortable experience shaped by uncertainty, stress, or exclusion.

This matters most for the people too often left navigating without answers—travellers, families, people with medical needs, and those in rural and underserved communities where reliable, dignified facilities are not a given. ToTheLoo shifts the experience from exclusion to informed navigation, putting clear, trustworthy access in everyone's hands.

The platform is designed to be:

It avoids unnecessary complexity and focuses on what matters most—helping people when they need it.

A System That Scales

What begins locally is designed to scale globally.

As participation grows, ToTheLoo becomes more than a utility—it becomes a dependable layer of everyday infrastructure.

From individual users to major urban environments, the goal remains the same:

To create a system people can rely on—anywhere.

Founded with Purpose

ToTheLoo was founded by a two-person partnership built on a clear division of strengths—vision and direction on one side, technical execution on the other.

Danielle Sparks is the concept originator and strategic lead. A proud member of the Métis community, she guides the direction, partnerships, and community focus of ToTheLoo, and holds majority ownership of the company. Her leadership keeps the platform anchored to the people it is meant to serve.

Michael Sparks, drawing on three decades in public service as a firefighter, serves as the technical executor—translating the vision into a working, scalable system with a focus on clarity, usability, and trust.

Together they are building ToTheLoo to serve people first, while creating long-term value across multiple sectors.
